[Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 14. Interviewed, the Hon. J. M'Gowan stated that Cabinet. a.t its first meeting would consider the entertainment, of tho American fleet. Personally, he favored tho adjournment of Parliament to enable the Legislature to participate in the welcome, but. that would depend on how the matter was viewed by members. Xo scheme- had yet. been formulated to entertain tlie visitors" He was not altogether enamored of the suggestion to hold a Maori huia in Auckland, many difficulties beintj in the read, while the Americans saw plenty of natives in their own country. He favored a big round of bright, sound functions.
