LATE COMMERCIAL.

Messrs Pryor and Co., Bond street, report having received to-day ’the first potatoes of the. season from the Peninsula. They were grown by Mr Jaa. Walker, and realised 4d per lb. The annual meeting of tho Taieri and Peninsula Milk Supply Company was held to-day. Mr A. M'Farlane was in the chair. The annual report (aJready published) was adopted, with tho balance-sheet. It was resolved that £SO bo paid to Mr \V. >l. Bolt as a bonus for liis work in connection with the freight fight, and another £SO to Mr T\ r . Riddell for special services rendered. Messrs John Mahoney and William Geary were elected directors and Mr Walter Hislop auditor for the ensuing year. The directors and staff were specially thanked for their services during tile year.
