We are advised thai Captain R. H. Neville is rejoining the Maheno in Sydney this trip, and that Captain John Gibb is transferring to the Moana while the latter vessel is running in the Vancouver service. The Invercargill arrived early this morning from Oamaru, and sailed again in the afternoon on her weekly trip to Invercargill.

The C.GS. Hinemoa, from the North, arrived at Port Chalmers this afternoon to take in stares for Cape Saunders lighthouse.

The Warrimoo, from Melbourne via Hobart and the Bluff, arrived at Port ChaL mers at 6 a.m. to-day. and after transhipping horses to %3 Mokoia at the Bowcn pier, she steamed un to Dunedin. She left Melbourne at 4 p.m. on the 19th inst., called at Hobart, and reached the Bluff • at 11.30 a.m. on the 24th inst., leaving again at 5 p.m. same day, and arrived as above, having experienced fine weather and smooth seas throughout the passage. Her northward passengers tranship to the Mokoia to-day. The Warrimoo came up to town shortly after 9 a.m., and will return to Port Chalmers to-morrow to undergo her periodical overhaul. The Burgermcister Hachmann sailed shortly after 3 p.m. to-day for Newcastle. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Waimate came up from Port Chalmers this morning, and berthed at the Victoria wharf, where she is now discharging her Dunedin cargo. The Kittawa, from the West Coast via Oamaru, arrived at 4.45 pirn, yesterday, and was berthed at the Bowen pier to dischargo 223 tons of State coal for the railways. When her coal is out she will lay up for docking and overhaul. . The auxiliary briganiine Rio Logo left the Lower Jetty street wharf this afternoon in charge of the pilot, and steamed down the harbor, bound for Kaipara. From Kaipara she takes a consignment of timber for the meat preserving works at Rockhampton. •The Poherua, from the West Coast via Oamaru, arrived alongside the George street pier early this morning. She came up to town shortly after mid-day, and commenced discharging her Dunedin coal. She sails on the return trip on Thursday afternoon. The Manuka sailed from Port Chalmers for Lyttelton, where,she docks. She will take up the Warrimoo's Sydney running, leaving Lyttelton on Friday. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
