AMUSEMENTS.

FULLERS' ENTERTAINERS. It would have taken a much bigger theatre than the Alhambra to seat the audience that demanded admittance to its doors on Saturday evening. The management had reluctantly to turn many pounds and matrons away. This was due in part, no doubt, to the fact that Princes street did not surest itself as a very desirablo promenade at any' hour on Saturday night, but very largely it indicated a prevailing impression that Messrs Fuller had somethingout of the way to offer their patrons. When it is written that the attraction was the Bovis brothers, and that the Bovis brothers are "patter" comedians—nothing more or less—many will raise their brows, and their mien will say : "What, again?" • Theße people will be those who have never seen the Bovis brothers. When they have seen them they will realise that there is patter and natter, that there are a few comedians who prefer their jokes unwhiskered bv age, that patter and knock-about people may be artists. That is jUBt what the Bovis brothers are, what they have made themselves. It is many years since they appeared here first (v/as it with .Charles Godfrey?), and they have ever since been oerfecting themselves in a line of work that, while much overdone, has still possibilities for a few. It is, of course, sheer buffoonery, but excellently done, and the mock boxing bout with which it concludes is exquisitelv ludicrous. They went, as the jargon has it, " out of sight." A little wonder is Marvellous Syd., a gymnast, who is doing things that no boy has done here before. Miss Winnie Warner made her first aonearanee in an original patter turn that proved rather diverting, and the other new face in the show was that of Bob Lloyd, a- very, and deservedly popular topical songster. Craydon, Barton, and Sam Wilson appeared in a humorous sketch, ' Oh, that babv.' which educed roars of laughter, and Mr A. L. Cropp was heard to decided advantage in 'The Friar of Orders Grey.' In the first "art there are the Rowell sisters, the clever little Bertotos, Addie Rarton, Clara Keating, Aubrey Doudas, r ittle Jackson, and the favorite Sam Wilson. Mr Stokes and orchestra put in some excellent work. The show, which concludes with some graphic and Besjsational moving pictures, may be seen this and every evening.
