Mr Andrew Carnegie has offered to give £2,000 for the erection of a. public library at. Mildura, provided the Council spend £IOO ajumally on its upkeep. A large gathering welcomed the Rev, Mr Worrall on his return to Bendigo. Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of Mlieod on the Flemington racecourse.
