Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, July 23. (Received July 24, at 9.1 ami.) Heavy weather foiled an attempt to tow the battleship Montagu off the rocks. Another attempt will be made on the sth August. [The Montague went .-shore during a dense fog on Shutter Point (Lundy Island) on May 30. She is a first class battleship of 14,000 tons di:-mlacement. She was launched at Devonport in 1901, and completed two yeare later. Her first commission was on the Mediterranean station, whence she returned last year and was reconirnksioned on October 31 for service in the Channel fleet, Captain T. B. S. Adah, who was then in command, remaining in the vessel. Her complement numbered about 750.]
