MR SEDDON ON THE COAST.
—*. . PRESENTATION BY THE LADIES. „ m HOKTITKA, Jury 24. Mr T. Y. Seddon, M.H.R., -was entertained by lus Ladies' Comnrittea yesterday at afternoon tea. There was a very large attendance of the public, including country representatives. Mr Joseph Mandl, exmayor, presided, and during the afternoon the ladies presented the new member with a gold severeign case as a souvenir of the occasion. Mr Seddon made a happy speech m returning thar.ks. Before the proceedings terminated very hearty cheers were given for the member, Mrs Seddon, and family. / Mr Seddon remains- another fortnight or so on the Coast, and purposes visiting South VVestlarid before returning to Wellington.
