TIMARU HARBOR BOARD.

At a special meeting of the Tiiharu Harbor Board yesterday a Bill to alter the constitution of the Board, and increasing the number of representatives from eleven to thirteen, was approved, and it was decided that if possible this be given legislative- sanction during the coming session of Parliament. A return of the imports and exports for the past eax months presented to the Board by the secretary showed a very progressive state of affairs, the total figures in each department being the largest in the history of the port. In frozen mutton the exports totalled 670.450 carcasses, this being 12.846 in excess of the largest number previously sent awav during any halfyear.
