The New York * Herald' reports "that in the recent, battle between the San Salvador and Guatemala troops 700 San Salv.-idoieans were killed and 1,100 wounded, while 2,800 Gautemalans were killed and 3,000 wounded. INHUMAN BARBARITIES. GAUTEMALA, July 18. (Received July 19, at 8.28 a.m.) Despite an agreement to cease fighting pending the peace negotiations, the Guatemalans attacked tlie Salvadoreans on Monday and 'Tuesday, but were repulsed each time. The Gautemalaiis are accused of inhuman barbarities.
