(Received July 19, at 8.42 a.m.) The Soutb-Eastern Railway Company have given Mr Cyril Maude, actor and theatre manager, £20,000 as compensation for the destruction of the Avenue Theatre. [The damage to the Averrae Theatre was occasioned by the falling in of the roof of the Charing Cross railway station. some time last year.]
