Mr Robert Waugh is to receive a call to the Presbyterian Church.at Tapanui and Waikoikoi on the completion of his theo logical course. v The ceremony of profession and reception took place at St. Dominic's Priory on Tuesday (says the 'Tablet'). Miss Jane M'Namee, of Garston, was professed, taking the name in religion of Sister Mary Aidan. Miss Jane Roche, of Invercargiil (whose name in religion is Sister Marv Agnes), and Miss Maud Collins, o"f Heriot (who took the name in religion of Sister Mary Ursula), were received at the same time.

A veteran and old colonist in the person of John Fulton died at Wellington on Monday.
