———**♦?- , The B Battery, N.&F.A.. are now well embarked on their winter work, the different detachments receiving regular instruction in all the various branches of artillery. A new feature has lately besn intrqthe employment of sufficient horses to allow of practice in harnessing and bivouacking full gun teams? and, although the floor space available is not all that could be desired, marked progress has already been made in this important work, while the opportunity is much appreciated by the men. The new sergeant instructor is expected here within the next few weeks, • when full advantage will be taken of bV presence to increase the general efficiency o? the corps.
