Secondary : Otago Boys' and Girls' Hich Schools Board, £96 13s 3d; Southland High Schools Board, £6l 13s; Waitaki High Schools Board, £34 6s lOd. Accounts amounting to £195 13s 6d were passed for payment The chairman and the ranger were authorised to report to next meeting as to the application of Green Island Borough Council far section 2 of 13 as a cemetery site. Mr Donald Reid, M.H.R., introduced the deputation. In reference to Ross Bros.' application for a coal lease at To Anau, Mr Hay reported that as the land is not within a goldfield the warden has no jurisdiction. It was resolved that in future all comnnmications on business must be in the office by 1 p.m. on the Saturday preceding the regular meeting.
