HAMILTON-GARMONG MISSION.

There was again a large attendance at the Tabernacle, King street, last evening, to hear the Hamilton-Garmong mission. The subject dealt with by Mr 0. E. Hamilton was the Heavenly City. The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, said the lecturer, is a real institution of this world, with Christ as its head, and Christ said the Kingdom of Heaven is in the midst of us. Alter His resurrection from 'the dead He had .the right to say He was King, for He said 1 " All power is given to Me in Heaven and on earth." There must be a foundation upon which, a kingdom" can be raised, and the Scriptures taught as.that when Peter confessed that Jesus was. the Christ, the Son of the living God, Jesro said : "Tuou art Peter, and upon this rock I will; build My Church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." This was the foundation upon which Christ, raised His Kingdom, and the way of entrance was opened for ever by Peter on the day of Pentecost, when he told' the specific law by which men. might become citizens. In addition to a song service by the cuoir, Mr Garmong sang 'The Hcly City.'
