The Compatriot Club's reply to the Cobden Club's manifesto to the people of Australia, ha-j been published. It traverses the views expressed by the Cobden Club, and claims that, all are partner States of the Empire, and have a right to express an opinion on a great Imperial policy like Pre fertnoe and to give effect to their conclusions.
