THE TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION BOARD.

WELLINGTON, March 21. The following is the result of the election of members of the Teachers' Superannuation Board under the Act of 1905: North Island (497 voting papers).—William Foster 278, William Thomas Grundy 255, William N. Mlntosh 180, Albert Erskine 165, George Lippiott 97. South Island (408 voting papers).—Thos. Hughes 236, William Davidson 219, James Jeffery 19.8, James H. Hartness 123. Messrs Foster. Grundy, and Davidson have been declared elected. The total number of papers issued were: North Island 659, South Island 524. Five of the former were informal. Forty papers ■that bore evidence of having bsen posted after the day of election were not opened.
