The nomination# for the Dunedin Maiden and Otago Champion Stakes were to have closed last evening, but, owing to some of the club’s country delegates not sending in returns yesterday, both stakes will remain open till next_ Alonday, Up to the present forty-two entries, have been received for the Maiden, and a fair number for the Otago Champion Stake. A Sydney cable notifies the following scratchings for the Doncaster Handicap: Alagazine, Istria, Pendant, and Alarvel Lock.
