The following prisoners were dealt with at the Supreme Court this morning Eankawa Hare (theft), Sidney Norman Anderson (forgery and uttering), George Kemp (forgery and uttering)—eaoh twelve months’ probation; William George Phillips (false pretences), one month’s imprisonment ; Rimu Kara (assaulting two girls), probation, with an order to give up horse racing; Fred. Sylvester Folles (theft), six months’ imprisonment. WELLINGTON, March 20. The tie between Winslade and Hyde, both of the Opalri Rifle Club, for fourth place in tire championship aggregate of the New Zealand Rifle Association, was shot off at Masterton to-day. Winslade made 90, and secured the silver star for fourth place. Hyde scored-86. OAMARU, March 20. While cutting a drain to let water off a 1.000-acre swamp on Mr H. B.
