WORKERS' DWELLINGS.
[Special to the Sm*.] CHRrSTCHDECH, March 17. Mr Seddon states that before definite advice is tendered as to the erection of workers' dwellings in CJhristohurch, the inspector will hold meetings with the various workers, and give them clear information as to the provisions .of the Act. It is also intended to ; have copies of the new regulations _ distributed amongst the workers'. The inspector will then be able to give definite information as to tbe>. number of persons likely to make application for workers' dwellings. It- is considered that this course might: also be profitably followed before undertaking the erection of workers' dwellings at Petone, Auckland, and. Dunedin. .
