[Per United Press Association.] CARTERTON, March 17. In reference to the Greytown fire, the ■water supply from open races was ample, and could have concentrated streams to flood the whole street, but the fire engine was not equal to grapple wuh so big a blaze. The brigade consequently confined 'their efforts to saving the adjoining premises, m which they were successful.
