THE EXHIBITION.
The tender of Stokes and Sons (Melbourne) has been accepted for the right to strike and sell commemorative medala. The Agricultural Department has had 12,000 ft of floor space allotted. Attached will be a half-acre plot, which will be prepared to accommodate a working apiary, with honeyhouse, etc., complete, presided over by Mr Hopkins, the Government apiarist. There will also be a "grass garden," similar to those at. Momohaki and Weraroa experimental stations. About March or April it is intended to call a conference of colonial fruitgrowers, and a colonial fruit show will be held. IE
