SCHOOL COMMITTEES

The_ monthly meeting of the Anderson's Bay School Committee was attended by Messrs W. G. Lawless (chairman)., T. Bees, W. Bennet, W. M'Adam, W. G. North. 'K Pryor, and W.. Youngson- {clerk). The head-maater's report was received calling attention to various matters reajiiring consideration, which it was resolved should le attended to.. It was resolved that the rule excluding pupils from tho school grounds after school hours should be strictly enforced. The Committee expressed their approval of the great hnprovementa that had been made on the school grounds. Routine business concluded the meeting. The monthly meeting of the Albany street Ocmmdttee, held last evening, was attended by Messrs Alexander Dempster (chairman), J. H. Wilkinson, J.. o*Shea, A. Brooke, W. Aitken, W. R. Smith, and H. Mitchell. Messrs Wilkinson, Smith, and Dempster were appointed a sub-com-mittee to draft an annual report for presentation at tie householders' meeting to bo held next month- The chairman, s»«.i\ - tary. and treasurer were authorissd to »?tde outstanding accounts that had accrued over the past- year. The delegates to the School Committees' Association presented a tengthy report, on' the business transacted- at its last meeting. Messrs Mitchell and Wilkinson yere appointed a Visiting Commit tee for the ensuing month.
