THE RAILWAY SERVICE
RESIGNATIONS AND TRANSFERS.
WELLINGTON, April 7, The following changes in the Railway Service are announced:—
Mr W. H. Gaw, chief traffic manager of the colony, retires from the service on the 25th April, owing to ill-health, and will be succeeded by Mr Burton, traffic manager at Auckland.
The Auckland vacancy will be filled by Mr Waite, traffic manager at Gbristchurch; and Mr Whitcombe, traffic manager at Wanganui, will fill the Ghristchurch place. Mr Stringleman, relieving traffic becomes traffic manager at Wanganui.
