CHEAP GUNS.

TO THE EDITOE. Sir, —How few holidays pass without some gun accident, and how many narrow escapes that the public never hear of! Five shillings for a gun! Is it any wonder that the gun goes off and the owner does not know how? The guns with all the latestimprovements that are annually sold by auction so cheaply may be quite safe at first, but they are not* made to last, and scon some spring or other part of the lock gets out of order, and at the least jar goes off unexpectedly, and an enlightened jury make no comment!—l am, etc.. Gkeener. April 5.
