OTAGO PRESBYTERIAN SYNOD.
The inaugural meeting of the Otago Presbyterian Synod was held last evening at the First Church. The retiring moderator (the Rev. A. Cameron) occupied the pulpit, and, after the opening devotional exercises, preached an impressive sermon, taking as bis text St. John's Gospel xii., 32: "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men. unto me."
