The obsolete battleship Neptune, while being towed ont of Portsmouth Harbor, broke adrift, and rammed the old flagship Victory 12ft below water-line. The Victory began to fill, and had to be towed to the docks for safety.

Siemen's electric car at Zossen put up another record, attaining a speed of 128 miles an hoiir.
ROME, October 25. (Received October 26, at 8.50 a.m.) The Pope will give a farewell audience to Cardinal Moran on Tuesdav.
