WELLINGTON, October 26.
The persons who were arrested in connection with the police raid on the premises known as the Olympic Gymnastic Club for alleged gambling appeared before the s:ipendiary magistrate this morning. They all pleaded not guilty, and were remanded till Friday. Mr Hancock, the American electric expert, has arranged to extend his stay in the colony until Christmas. He will spend a month in the South Island, in the hope that he will be able to furnish his report to the Government before he returns to San Francisco.
