BISHOP NELIGAN ENTHRONED.
Bishop Neligan was enthroned at a service in the Auckland Cathedral last evening. There was a crowded attendance, nil tho visiting bishops being present. After the documents certifying to the consecration were read, the bishop was inducted to his throne by Archdeacon Calder, and declarations of allegiance were made by representatives of the clergy and laity. The new bishop gave a powerful and brilliant address on the words "My people." Without any. notes whatever he delivered one of the most striking and masterly pulpit orations ever heard in Auckland, holding the closest attention of bis hearers for nearly an hour, The bishop has created a very deep and favorable impression.
