THE BLACK FAMILY.

A reminder is directed to the musical entertainment to be given in the Princess's Theatre on Monday night. Musical families are not rare, but a family whose individual and collective skill equals that displayed by the Blaik family are not often met with in these parts. Mr R. Bryant, a well-known bass, will assist by singing two sonjrs—' The storm fiend ' and ' Out on the deep.' An exchange says: " Where all the items were nearly equally good and distinctly meritorious, it would be a work of supererogation to sinjrle out particular selections for special criticism. The songs rendered by Misi Nellie Black are certainly deserving of mention, and constituted probably the most pleasing featuie of the concert. Miss Black is, besides, a violiniste of considerable ability, and in response to an encore gave her wonderful imitation en the violin of various inrtruments, an uncommon, clever performance, which the audience seemed to find great delight in. Miss Elsie Black, both in her singing and dancing, was very good indeed, whilst Master Block as a cornet player, step dancer, and all-round musician was a perfect wonder. Several comic songs and recitations were given by Mr Black, all of which were provocative of much laughter."
