INCHDALE G.M. COMPANY.

TO TDK EDITOR. Sir, —A great many shareholders are asking why the directors keep the affairs of the company so quiet. The man in the street says that the company are now clear of debt, and therefore the shares should not be quoted at the absurdly low figure they are at the present time. One is inclined to wonder if anybody has an object in keeping the shares down, and whether this silence is maintained with an object. Generally there is great elation when a company reaches the happy position of being clear of debt, but our directors evidently think if is no business of the shareholders, and so do not impart the information.—l am, etc., Inqcteino Shabeholdeb.
