BURGLARS AT ASHBURTON
ASHBURTON, March 9. Between Saturday night and Sunday morning the premises of Johnston, cycle dealer, were burglariously entered, and two gents' bicycles were taken; also a lamp and sa, the contents of the till. Entrance had been effected by the bursting open of the front door. The premises, of the Farmers' Co-operative Association were also entered by breaking the window at the rear of the building. The till in the grocery department was forced, but as there was nothing there, the burglars evidently left disgusted, as nothing further has been missed. There is no clue to the perpetrators.
