ARBITRATION COURT.
THE CLOTHING AWARD. AUCKLAND, December 16. The Southern clothing manufacturers—representing Wellington, Dunedin, and Christchurch—have applied to the Auckland Arbitration Court for an extension of the Southern industrial award to Auckland. The Auckland firms objected that the existence of the industrial agreement here barred jurisdiction of the Southern representatives, and dispute the legality of the existing agreement. Further argument was adjourned for the employment of counsel.
