SEQUEL TO A BREACH OF PROMISE.

WELLINGTON, September 30. The sequel to a breach of promise case, Richards v. Birch, was witnessed in bankruptcy proceedings to-day. The only creditor was Miss Richards, whose claim consisted of the amount of judgment in htr favor of £IOO and costs for breach of promise. Birch, who became bankrupt after the judgment of the Court, was subjected to a severe cross-examination on behalf of Miss Richards.
