A RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
STRATFORD, February 15 An accident occurred at the Regan street railwar crossing this morning, when :hc--10.20 train ran into the cart of a farmer named Morris, The train struck the horse, nod hurled everything clear of the line. Morris and his wife were badly bruised and cut. The horse was also badly hurt.

CHRISTCHURCH. February 15.
The secretary of the local Trades and Labor Council writes to the papers complaining of the operations of the Milling Trust, and calling an open-air meeting for this evening by way of protest. The local agent of the Association .received intimation yesterday of another increase of 10s per ton, thus' raising the price to £8 per ton in sacks.
