The operatives and printers haye registered as a union and notified the owners of newspapers and printers of their demands for shorter hours and higher wages. CHRISTCHURCH, September 26. The disputes in/ the range-making and cycle trades, v and between the Lyttelton Maritime and Wharf Laborers' Union of Worker* and the employers will be heard before the Conciliation Board next week.
