THE TROUBLE IN FIJI.
Presi Association—By Telegraph—Copyright,
SYDNEY, January 22. (Received January 22, at n cn a'm.) R-eferring to Mr Seddon's communication with Fiji, the ' Telegraph' condemns Governor O'Brien's attitude, and says: It is 'inpleasant to find a Governor of a Grown colony interfering in local politics, but it is much more to find that his .interference takes the form of an open depreciation of a responsible Government. From our point of view it would be undesirable for Fiji to federate with New Zealand, but that is none of the Governor's business, and he must not meddle in politics.
