Donald Reid and Co., Limited, report having held their weekly sale of grain and produce at their stores yesterday, wi£n prices ruled as follow : - • Oats.—There is a fair demand for all good to prime feed in sound condition. Inferior and thu&ty 'samples are plentiful, and are difficult to quit; Wc quote: Prhne milling, Is 6£d to Is 7d; good to best foed, Is 5d to Is 6|d j medium. Is 4d to Is 5d ; inferior, 1? to Is 3d per busfhel (sacks extra). Wheaf—ln milling quality prime sample* only are in request, medium sorts being -without much demand. Fo\ir wheat is scarce, and meets with ready sale. We quote: Prime milling, 2s 5d to 2s 7d 5 medium, 2s 2d to 2s 4d; wholo fowl wheat, 2s to 2s Id; broken and damaged, Is 8d to Is lid per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes—the fflarkst has been plentifully supplied by local growers, and in addition to this tho arrival of a considerable quantity from Auckland has caused a sudden drop iu value. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly auction sale yesterday before the usual attendance of buyers, when prices ruled as undet 5 : Oats.-—The demand for good bright feed has continued steady during the past week, and late quotations are well maintained. Prime milling, Is 6Ad to Is 7J,d: good to best feed, Is 5d to Is 6^d; medium, Is ?d to Is 4£d (bags extra). Wheat,—The market continues quiet. Prime. Eamplt-B have a little attention and fowl feed is in good demand; medium quality in, however, neglected. Prime velvet and Tuscan, 2s 6d to 2s 7d : medium do, 2s 2d to 2s sd; fowl feed, 2s to 2s Id (bags in). Potatoes.—The market is much belter supplied, as consignments are arriving more freely, consequently prices are much lower. Prime kidneys are worth to-day from £3 15s to £4 10s (bags in). Chaff.-—Prime oaten sheaf is in good demand, and meets a ready sale from £2 12s 6d to £2 15*; medium quality is overplentiful at from £2 to £2 7s 6d.
