A DETERMINED SUICIDE.
WELLINGTON, January 21. John M'Donald Russell, an elderly man, -a casual laborer, cut his throat in a dozen places yesterday, and also cut tha musclea of both legs. He died at the hospital this morning. The man had been suffering from melancholia.
