AN INVALID'S' SAD END.
WANGANUI, January 30. About 930 this morning a body was found floating in the river, which ha 3 been identified as that of an elderly man named Reid, a passenger by the Charles Edward from Nelson. Daceased was last seen on board an hour previous. Ho was suffering from gout, walked with the aid of crutches, is supposed to have been on bia way to the Hot Lakes for curative treatment, and to have f illon overboard.
