WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.
The Wesleyan Conference again met at Christchurch yesterday morning. The report of Three King's College was considered, and the Committee were requested to repay the loan of £l5O to the jubilee fund. The Sunday school j' report was presented and statistic* considered. Decreases were reported under several headings, and tho necessity of increased attention to the woik was emphasised. The temperance report was presented, and an animated discussion followed. R ■ turns showed an increased number of societies and members. It was decided to establish temperance societies in connection with every Sabbath school and congregation.
The Stationing Committee sat during the day, and reported several times to the Conference. The following was finally decided on aa the third reading of stations :
