Captain R. A. J. Montgomerie, R. N., C.8., who has just been commissioned for service in China on the cruiser Bonaventure, is a mighty hunter, as well as one of the foremost of our naval officers. He stands in the “ records ” of Mr Rowland Ward as having killed the largest number of lions in a given time, the largest lion known, and the largest rhinoceros known.
