ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A man whose name is unknown fell off a railway carriage platform at Waikomiti bridge, fourteen miles from Auckland, at dusk. He was picked up unconscious and taken to the Auckland Hospital, During the jumping competition at the Oimaru show yesterday a cadet on the Tolara Station named James Drjsdale, a son of one of the Edinburgh directors of the N Z and A. Lind Company, had one of his legs badly fractured by his horse failing on him when in the act of jumping.
