_ PERTH, August 24. There is much dissatisfaction in mining circles in consequence of the Government allowing the McArthur and Forrest syndicate to amend their patent, giving them the sole right to work the solution of cyanide. The Chamber of Mines have resolved to take immediate steps to suppress the monopoly. They point out to the Government that the patent haa been over-ruled in other countries, and consider that it should be treated as a national matter and defended by the country.
