THE ENGINEERS’ STRIKE,
Several thousand workmen have been locked out at Burnley, and 21,000 are idlo at Oldham.
The Employers’ Federation declare that by Christmas the strike will have cost the Amalgamated Engineers’ Society £400,000.
At a meeting of the Auckland Tailoresses’ Union it was decided to submit a new log to the employers.
