THE FRENCH NAYY.
THE MINISTER’S RETIREMENT DEMANDED,
The French armored cruiser Briux, while acting as an escort to M. Faure and his colleagues on their departure to visit Russia, became disabled and had to return to Paris being replaced by the armored orniser Dupuy de Loire. The incident has given rise to a great outory in the Press, which demands that Admiral Besnard, Minister of Marine, should resign when he returns from his visit.
