Peshawar reports are that the outlook on the Afghan frontier is less disquieting, The tribesmen are daunted by the rapid oonotn* tration of troop?, 18,000 of whom havo already bsen concentrated in the valley o! the Swat River, 7,500 at Toohi, 6,600' at Rawai Pmdi, and 12,000 at Kobat and Peshawar. The religious leaders of the, Swatis have submitted.
The Sultan has disclaimed joining the Ameer in .fomenting an insurrection amongst the followers of Islam on the Afghanistan frontier. •
