PORT CHALMERS. ARRIVED.— August 21. Eakaia, s.e., 5,126 tons, Sutcliffe, from Waitara. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Bakaia, from Waitara, arrived this forenoon, and as soon as she was berthed at the George street pier commenced to take on board frozen mutton. ...The Liddesdale was floated into the graving dock this forenoon.
The Brunner left Port Chalmers at 7 a.m. today for Napier yia the Bluff. The Anglian is fixed to leave Dunedin for the North on Tuesday, August 31.
THE VANCOUVER SERVICE.
Wellington, August 21.— Early this morning, Vancouver liner Warrimoo, from Sydney. She leaves for Vancouver in the afternoon. In addition to a large number of passengers landed here, dhe has forty booked for Vancouver.
