FOOTBALL.
WELLINGTON, August 21. The weather is fine for the football match, but the ground will be heavy. A good game is anticipated. The Aucklanders are favorites.
The New Zealand Rugby Union have further adjourned a decision relative to the three 'members of the ■ team who misconducted themselvesi ■in Auckland; The manager of the team reports that the conduct of the team throughout the tour except the circumstance mentioned was of the best, and the team were hospitably entertained everywhere. He suggests that there should be a uniform interpretation of rules of the game, as in each of the three colonies there was a different interpretation.
