Mails clobb at tho Chief Post Office, Dnnedin (subject to any necessary alterations), as under:— Overland, North, daily, 10.30 a.m. Late letters, mail van, 11 a.m. Friday, August 13. For Lyttelton, Christchurch, and Northern Ports.—Per Te Anau, at 2.20 p.m. Late letters. C.P.0., at 2.30 p.m. Friday, August 20. For Lyttelton and Christchurch. Per Te Anau, at 2.20 p.m. Late letters, C.P.0., at 2.30 p.m. FEDERAL MAIL SERVICE. Monday, August 16. For Southland, Australian colonies (via Hobart), India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc.—Per Mararoa, at 1.45 p.m. Late letters, guard's van, Port train, at 2.30.Money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 12.45 p.m. Parcels post mails for the Australian colonies will close at 3 p.m. on the 14th.
Mails for Fiji, per Flora, close at Auckland to-day.
Mails for Cromarty, Puysegur, and Tuanaroa will close at Invercargill on the 19th inst., at 3 p.m. Mails for Noumea close at Sydney on the 20th inst.
