MORNINGTON NIGHTSOIL CONTRACT.

TO THE EDITOB. Sir, From conversations I have had with other residents in the Momington Borough I gather that there is great dissatisfaction in the district as to the manner in which the nightsoil contractor carries out his contract. It is a well-known fact that a 1 >t of residents prefer to bury the nightsoil i i their own gardens sooner than be bothered with the trouble occasioned in having it removed by the contractor. It is to be hoped that when his contract expires the Council will have had sufficient experience of the present contractor, and will appoint sime person who will properly carry out the contract.—l am, etc., Resident. Mornington, June 15.
